Alive Hospice

Hospice. It’s a word many people have heard, perhaps because a friend or family member received hospice care. It’s a service that has touched millions of lives across the United States. It’s a special kind of care that’s offered right here in Middle Tennessee, and it’s an offering every person should know about.

Alive Hospice serves patients and family members in equal measure. The agency’s physicians, registered nurses, hospice aides (CNTs), social workers, chaplains and volunteers offer emotional support & compassion to help patients & their loved ones during one of life’s most significant journeys.

Alive Hospice has been offering loving care to people with life-threatening illnesses, support to their families and service to the community in a spirit of enriching lives since 1975. As the oldest community-based hospice in Middle Tennessee, we understand that coping with terminal illness presents many challenges – physical and emotional – to the patient and the family. Our caring, experienced team of professionals and volunteers is prepared to meet those challenges and believes that no one, regardless of illness, age or ability to pay, should die alone or in pain.
