NASHVILLE, Tenn. (October 2010) – Orleans band member Lance Hoppen and hit songwriter Rand Bishop will be among more than 20 acts to take the stage for the "Butterfly and Friends Concert" from 7-10 p.m. Nov. 5 (Friday) at the Center for Spiritual Living Nashville, 6705 Charlotte Pike in west Nashville. The celebration will mark the 22nd anniversary of the CSLN music program. Musical performers will include Lisa Aschmann, A.J. Bigler, Rand Bishop, Terry Brinegar, Brett Cartwright, Dan DeFigio, Katie Doyle, Gordon Ellis, Lance Hoppen, Jackie "Jazz-Smith" Jefferson, Dr. Mitch Johnson, Paige Manuel, David McHenry, Rick Perry, Spencer Strand, Bob Teesdale, Mark Wenner, Jon Wolf, Brian Wright, and Beth Younker. The event also will feature a dance presentation by Uflame, a Nashville belly dance company. Some of the performers are current and former members of the CSLN Band. Admission is free; a love offering will be taken. "This is a wonderful opportunity for arts enthusiasts to hear some of the most talented musical artists in Nashville -- all in one place," said Butterfly, a poet and storyteller who also co-hosts the monthly "Co-Creators Coffeehouse" at CSLN. "The depth and diversity of the talent here is amazing."
